Suu Kyi met with Obama.

Discourse to amend the constitution Myanmar attracted the attention of US President Barack Obama.
In line with the party of Aung San Suu Kyi's National League for Democracy (NLD), the number one White House is hoping the Constitution of Myanmar changed.
In (14/11) Obama deliberately left the capital of Myanmar to visit Suu Kyi in Yangon City. Together with his entourage visiting at the home-style two-story colonial. He reiterated his support for the NLD efforts to amend the constitution. He hoped Suu Kyi could waltz into Myanmar upcoming presidential elections.
Amendments to the constitution according to Obama aligned with Myanmar's political reform agenda. Without amendment, the constitution would only perpetuate the discriminatory power of the military junta, because until now the military junta cronies still sitting in the government, even in office essential.
Earlier, Obama also discussed political reforms by President Thein Sein.
"Myanmar reforms must be completed," Obama said in front of Suu Kyi's supporters. He then appealed to the public Myanmar and the international community to participate in supervising the trip reform, because although persistent in the beginning, is now Thein Sein began showing signs of stagnant or running in place, even Obama called Myanmar reforms began deteriorating.
Currently ongoing discussion in the parliament amendments. To achieve these amendments, the NLD must win the support of everyone, whereas 25 per cent of MPs are military figures. Ahead of the meeting with Obama, Suu Kyi stated that Myanmar's political reform can not be expected too.
"The clause is unfair, inappropriate and undemocratic. We should not discriminate against someone just because of their citizenship status," said Suu Kyi on prohibition candidate married foreign nationals.
Michael Aris, Suu Kyi's late husband was a British citizen. Suu Kyi was two children, Alexander and Kim, following his father's citizenship.
