If up to the ISP providers will actually shut off internet service, what is the impact for the country?

Approximately 200 of the internet service provider (ISP) in Indonesia prepares to discontinue its services. Indonesian Internet will die totally if the fatwa was requested to the Supreme Court (MA) of IM2 case applies equally to all ISPs.

Also on the same occasion, according to technology analyst Onno W. Purbo, other industries that use the services of internet services in Indonesia will also be affected.

"All transactions using the Internet industry, would be taxable, including banking, online trading," he explained. "Do not forget the campuses, educational institutions, government, social media, and news sites," he added.

Internet Indonesia threatened death total as the current ISP service providers would not have been imprisoned because of adopting the same business model with IM2.

As is known, President Director of Indosat Mega Media (IM2), Indar Atmanto, were found guilty by the High Court because the IM2 considered to violate the rules, the roll out of 3G services without having permission services.

3G services were held IM2 itself during this hire operator Indosat frequency which has bagged 3G network operating license.
